Personal Branding Photoshoot for Melinda Miné, CEO of the Spa Profit
I don’t know if I can ever top Melinda’s session. It was one of those history in the making kind of photoshoots, the amount of OMG I LOVE IT yelps coming from the team that day was seriously over the top. The session was absolutely perfect!
Let’s back up a bit.
Melinda is the owner of the Spa Profit, a coaching business giving Independent Spa Owners access to business coaching and resources required to have a thriving business and life they desire. Following the painful failure of her first business due to lack of financial knowledge, Melinda set out to learn better money management, a profitable pricing strategy, and established a strong financial foundation in which a business can thrive. The Spa Profit became sort of her love letter to the industry that she’s served for nearly 20 years. Her goal is to help spa owners identify and articulate the value their service provides and leverage that value as a competitive tool to attract loyal clients. To empower women with the resources needed to master their mindset, money, and marketing, removing the revenue roadblocks in order to manifest their ultimate vision of financial freedom.
As she was starting to rebrand and face lift her business, Melinda knew she needed help with being strategic on types of images to capture. She was working with a woman owned branding agency based in NY, Social Circle Inc, and it was time to implement the photoshoot! This is where we came together to dream up a story board, wardrobe and props suited for this shoot. We decided to host the photoshoot at her home, to give the images that homey and friendly feel, and keep the energy peaceful and grounded for her. Brittanie stayed on set after implementing the glowing photoshoot look and helped out with sets and outfit changes. We also filmed a few b-rolls and stop motion graphics for Melinda’s team to use in the new website design. Which by the way I can’t wait to see.
